Thanks to Alex for hosting this each month. Here is the complete list of participants.
Good news is the writing has picked up. Have spent the last few days going through all of the stories and deciding which one to be the main project I work on. Decided it’s going to be my vampire series. I’m totally reworking it. Hope to share more on it soon. Have a few new ideas I’m thinking about working on. One of those is to start writing a serial to post on Wattpad along with some short stories and other WIPs. Also, have a couple of ideas for a graphic novel I want to work on eventually.
I’m undecided about whether or not to participate this year in Camp NaNo as it takes place in April. If I can get all of my posts ready for the A to Z challenge by then I just might participate but we’ll see. Will be revealing my theme for A to Z later this month. Β π
Well, that’s it for now. Look forward to reading your comments. π
Ug, Camp Nano is in April? There’s no way! I’m doing A to Z as well as judging a high school short story contest then. Last year I had 150 entries to judge (the other judges also had 150 each to judge and we each brought our top 5 to the table for the finals). If you do it, good luck with it!
I had forgotten all about it until someone in a writing group I belong to reminded everyone that it was coming up. Don’t even give it a thought. You have a lot going on as it is next month with everything. With A to Z and the reviews and such I do plus edits on my series I’m not sure right now that I will. Thanks, I’ll need it. π
It’s good to have goals. Congrats on deciding which project to start. Always hard. Thanks for stopping by my blog. π
I just hope I can get accomplished. Thanks. It was getting out of hand at one point. It was hard trying to decide which one. You’re welcome and thanks for stopping by mine. π
Yay for deciding which WIP to work on and having a plan! I signed up for A-Z and am hoping I get time this month to write the posts. I’m afraid I won’t get it done. Eek!
Thanks. π
It was hard. I love them all. Good luck with getting the posts written. I’m trying to get that part accomplished as well. π
Glad you settled on a story to write.
I can see doing Camp NaNo if I wasn’t doing the Challenge, but both would mean I’d live in front of my computer for a month.
Thanks. I totally agree with you on that. Don’t want to live in front of my computer for the month. Trying to get posts ready for April is enough on its own but to add getting an outline and other things done for a new writing project not happening plus I’m taking an online class as well. π
Yikes! That would be a lot to handle! I’ll be full up with doing A-Z this year (I’m a co-host). Would love to do Camp NaNo – NaNoWriMo last year was amazing. We’ll seeee….

I agree. That’s why I’m on the fence about it. A to Z is going to be fun. This would be my third year doing Camp NaNo if I participate. First year for A to Z. π
Good luck if you decide to do Camp NaNo at the same time as A to Z.
Oooo. I love vampire stories. Good luck with it.
Thanks. They’re my favorite. π
Sorting through ideas can often be the hard part, especially when there are potential switches of medium. They’re always tempting, but at the same time, they’re scary, because it’s hard to know the rules of how they work.
So true. I definitely had a hard time making the choice. I have a lot of work ahead of me with this one but it’s all good. It’s going to be fun reworking the series.
I did NaNo last November, but I had no idea there was a Camp NaNo. I’ll have to check into that! Thanks for the tip and good luck with your projects.
Hi Holli, Camp NaNo is a lot of fun. Thanks and good luck if you decide to participate in Camp NaNo. π
I am going to have to stick with the A-to-Z Challenge for this year because I am also judging a contest for HuffPo in April. Half way through April I will wonder why I doe this to my self but finishing is always so sweet.
Hi Doreen, I’m going to stick with doing the A to Z Challenge only even though with Camp NaNo you can set your own word count. I’m not sure I could do even 10k on top of the challenge especially with reworking my vampire series that’s going to take a lot of my time as well. π
I think it’s always good to re-evaluate what we’re doing and to focus. I’ve been very scattered lately…I’m glad you’re doing the A-Z Challenge (since I’m co-hosting, can’t help but celebrate another member assimilated into the collective…) (I write sci-fi, not vampires, that was Star Trek…) I do agree with Alex that doing both in one month would be extremely time consuming…but hey, if you’ve got the time…go for it!

Hi Tina,
It wasn’t easy but I feel like I’m not so overwhelmed now. Thanks, the challenge is definitely going to be a lot of fun. π
Sounds like you have enough to keep you busy!
And busy is good… busy means things are moving along… busy means growth!
I love the A to Z Challenge. This will be my 4th one.

Hi Michelle, I agree. Now that I’m focusing on one project it’s fun. I hadn’t looked at the vampire series in months. I picked it up to look through and decide which pile to put it in and started getting all kinds of new ideas for plots, subplots, and characters.
A to Z is going to be fun. First year participant. I had noticed it on other blogs in years past and finally decided to join this year. Have my theme just need to get everything ready. π
Camp NaNo is fun and if I participate it’ll be my third year. Not sure I will though. We’ll see. π
I’m away too much over the next 6 weeks so both A-Z and Nano are out. But good for you in making the tough choices and getting your head down. Best of luck! X
Hi Shah, Thanks. Good luck to you with everything you have going on. π
