#AtoZChallenge: Jersey Devil

J

This is my first year participating in the A to Z Challenge. The list of participants can be found here. Thanks to Arlee Bird and the co-hosts for hosting this awesome challenge. Check out the site here.

I’m also participating in a mini-hop that got started on theme reveal day when a few of us realized we had similar themes. ย It’s called Supernatural A to Z. Click below to check out the list of participants. ย ๐Ÿ™‚

The Jersey Devil is the creature of the day. The lore behind this one is that it resides in the Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey. It’s often described as a creature with bat-like wings, horns, and small arms with clawed hands, and have hooves. It has been referenced in shows like The X-files, and MonsterQuest on the History channel.

I find this one of the most amusing cryptozoological creatures I have ever heard about. Very accurate for Jersey ๐Ÿ˜€ I have a friend who lives there who never heard about it, so I introduced her to the story. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Cheers!
