TITLE: Creatura
My Review:
Book 1: Creatura
Nely is an amazing writer. I couldn’t put Creatura down. It’s a page turner. I love the characters and the world that she has created. There are some great twists and turns. We are introduced to Isis. She is one unique person. She can control her dreams but she also finds out some even more interesting things about herself. She sets out to figure out what is happening to her and find out more about her family especially her father. Her friend David goes along with her to help her out. Although there is more to him and his family than meets the eye. The ending is great. It leaves the reader wanting to know about Isis and David. This is one that would be a great addition to any reader’s TBR list.
Book 2: Fruit of Misfortune
Fruit of Misfortune is just as good as Creatura. I couldn’t put it down. It’s another page turner. It has more great twists and turns. We learn more about Isis and David. Isis starts learning who she really is and why she’s changing. More is revealed about David and his family as well. Both of them have some very interesting changes happening to them. With the help of David’s family and their friends they start fighting to survive the changes. The ending was definitely a surprise. This series would be a great addition to any reader’s TBR list. I look forward to reading more of Nely’s books.
Nely Cab has lived and resided in a small, quiet South Texas town most of her life. She worked in banking for several years, before she relocated to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico in 2001, where she dedicated time to the study of culinary arts and the art of oil painting. After her return to the U.S., Nely resumed her employment in banking and later transitioned to the field of Social Work.
