#BookBlogWriMo-History of My Blog

Thanks to bookbumblings for hosting this awesome blog hop.  So, today’s post is about the history of my blog. This is going to be interesting. Here are my answers to the following questions about it.

When did I start my blog? I started my blog in January 2012.

Why did I start my blog? I wanted somewhere to share updates about my writing and any book reviews I wrote.

What have been some of my trials and tribulations?  I guess the biggest thing has been to find my niche for the blog.  Another thing that I didn’t think about at first was how much work goes into maintaining the blog and keeping it fresh and exciting. Once, I found my niche though it has been fun to write and share the book reviews, cover reveals, and updates about my writing.

  1. Thanks for sharing! Yeah, I so didn’t think a book blog would be as much work as it is, but I love it. (I also had no idea how much time BookBlogWriMo would take up, which is why I’m just commenting on this now )

  2. Thanks for sharing 🙂 I started blogging for the first time in 2011, around November.. But if you read my 1st BookBlogWriMo post, you will understand why it looks like I am just starting out again. I have discovered that this is more work than I originally thought it would be — at times it even felt like a job. But I have learned when I can push myself and when to ease off so I don’t feel like I am getting burnt out of it all. I love it too much to leave it alone! Hang in there, you will really find your niche!

    1. I agree with you about it being a lot of work but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I love sharing my thoughts on books and updating about my own stuff as well. 🙂
