Thanks to bookbumblings for hosting this awesome blog hop.  So, today’s post is about my favorite book tropes. This is a little hard to decide on because my tastes are all over the place as far as books are concerned. 🙂

Let’s see I guess I would have to start with my favorite types of fantasy books. I love to read books that have good vs evil, quests, and magic. My favorite authors are: J.R.R. Tolkien, JK Rowling, Jim Butcher, Laurell K Hamilton, and Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Next would have to be my favorite types of characters. I love books that have elves, dwarves, fairies, vampires, and werewolves in them. I love that these type of characters can fit into different genre categories. I love books that mix things like mythology in with urban fantasy (The Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon).  I love anything paranormal as well.

The last one is anything horror other than books involving clowns. I love Stephen King but I couldn’t read IT.
