Changes to blog and other things…

I’ve changed the tabs around a bit and added a few new ones. One of the things I did was to combine my bio and contact pages. Added the books, resources, and 2015 releases pages.

Under the resources pages are some sub pages like character design, game design, world building and folklore. Will be adding more sub pages as needed. Have added some links to the character design, game design, and world building pages.

Check out the new things and let me know what you think.

One last item to attend to and I’m done. The Hobbit/LOTR posts will be happening but they only be once a month as I have several small writing projects to work on and one big project to edit. I’ll still be adding the character posts at least once a month as well. Will pop in from time to time to keep everyone updated on my progress. 🙂

Right now, I’m working on posts for August. If there are any topics you would like to see on here please let me know. 🙂

Small Update….

Hi everyone,

I wanted to post the next Hobbit/LOTR post today but am still working on it. If I can the family tree finished up for Durin’s Folk by tonight I will post tomorrow so wish me luck. I’m finishing up some of the character and story posts I’ve promised to share and they should go live next week. 🙂

The epic fantasy story keeps growing and I’m trying to get it under control. lol

Some cool news the short story I’ve been talking about should be published in late summer. Once I have an actual date I will post it here. The next piece of cool news is I’ve written a guest post for a fellow author’s blog. Thanks Tiger Hebert. I had fun writing the piece. It’s called Writing  a Series. It went live today. Check it out. 🙂

That’s it for now. Look forward to your comments.

Baggins Family Tree

Being a fan of The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings I had always wanted to see what some of the family trees would like because there are a lot of family members listed in some fashion in the books. I was going to try and create one on my own but while I was searching everywhere (the books and LOTR sites) I found this one at a great site called Frodoforever.  I can honestly say I’m glad to have found it and others like it. The tree has helped to keep the relationships straight as I’m reading the books.  This one is the first of several posts that will deal with family trees. Next one up will be the Durin Family Tree.

Enjoy. Have a great day. 🙂

#IWSG: Camp NaNo

02a62-insecurewriterssupportgroup

Thanks to Alex and his co-hosts this month: Charity Bradford, S.A. Larsen, AJ, Tamara NarayanAllison Gammons, and Tanya Miranda.  Here is the complete list of participants.

First of all I want to apologize for the lack of posts (Tolkien or otherwise), I’ve been finishing up the edits on the short story and working on some other things that go with it. I’m happy to say edits are done and the story will be out sometime in the late summer.  With that project being done I can finally move on to other projects like edits of the vampire series and other stories.

I’ve started the epic fantasy story or least have it outlined at this point. Plan to work on it during Camp NaNo. As for Camp I just want to get the story started so I’m not going to stress myself out if I don’t win.  Also, working on the game which I’ll tell everyone more about later.

The posts that I’ve promised to have for the Tolkien series posts, my characters, and writing will be starting next week. I’m getting everything together and plan to schedule them this week/weekend.

Look forward to your comments. 🙂
