#atozchallenge: Aleesia, Angelynn

A 2016

It’s the first day of the challenge and thank you to the wonderful creators of it. You can find the list of participants here.  Now onto my topic for the letter A.

The first one is Aleesia. She is around 450 years old and an elf. She has brown hair, blue eyes, and is 6 feet tall. Her father was a captain in the kingdom’s army. She followed in her father’s footsteps and is a captain in the new king’s army. I created her initially as a game character for a game I was working on with a company that halted work for a bit. The rights to her and her story reverted back to me and the owner wanted us to take the characters and publish the stories we had written because he wanted to see us succeed with those characters after we had put in so much hard work to bring them to life. Now she is the main character in the epic fantasy story I’m writing. The Loss is a prequel of sorts and introduces her to the world.

The next character is Angelynn. She is a 800 year old vampire and rules New Orleans with her younger brother and her mate. You’ll be introduced to those two in later posts. She looks like she’s 25 to those who meet her. She is 5 feet and 5 inches tall and has black hair and green eyes. She and her brother are from a very long line of powerful vampires. Her story is being told in the Vampires of New Orleans series I’m working on. The first book is titled Blood and Water.

Look forward to your comments. 🙂

    1. Cool. elves and vamps are a couple of my favorites too. I’ve tried to make them as fascinating as possible. It’s making me smile to read yours and everyone else’s comments about the characters. 🙂
