#atozchallenge: Revisions

R 2016

Revisions are the one thing that drive me crazy but it has to be done. 🙂 I’m in the middle of revising the Vampires of New Orleans series and it’s been kind of fun but frustrating because I’ve now changed who the main character is. The new main character fits the plot more than the previous one did. So, now I’m revising the dialogue and other important points of the story. At the same time I’m thinking it was better the other way. Why is revising sometimes more frustrating than the actual writing of the story? I’ll tell you for me it’s that I don’t want to cut scenes but I know it has to be done to make the story better. 🙂

Here are a few articles I’ve found helpful when revising.
