Sometimes I think of my writing as that of running a zoo. It’s controlled chaos and everyone wants attention. You have the characters to the left that want be mean and not play well with others (the villians), in the middle there’s the ones that want to be left alone and not take sides, and to the right there’s the ones that want all of the attention all the time. They want to show off for the visitors in this case the readers. The villian want to try and trick the readers into thinking they are good then they attack. The ones that want to be left alone are the ones that are friends with both the good guy or girl and the villian. They are the ones that will be pulled in both directions and told in subtle or not so subtle ways that they have to pick sides. You try not to have your favorite ones but you do and that makes writing fun. π
Look forward to your comments. π
True! And the writing life itself is a zoo, or maybe a three ring circus. With promotion, creation, networking, and polishing all going on all the time!

That is so true. It’s definitely a zoo when you add all that in as well π

Picking sides in writing is hard. Two of my MCs battle for my attention. “Keep you shirt on… what am I saying?” Distracting characters! But that’s why we love them. They entertain us before we let them out to entertain the rest of the world.
Hi J, really enjoyed it this year. Didn’t get to as many as I would’ve liked to but I did visit a few of them. π
We survived! Be by more often! Happy blogging!
Yes we did. Great. Glad you enjoyed the posts. More fun writing updates coming soon π
