Life has been interesting since the middle of June. I started school and have been writing but it’s been weekly assignments that have to be turned in for my classes.
It has been a time of learning to balance everything so I can get things done like my own writing. I think I’ve finally reached a balance where everything is coming together and working like it should.
I decided to go ahead and do Camp NaNo this month and it’s actually working out well even though I haven’t updated the site with my word count yet. I’m using camp to work on Town Curse and surprisingly I’m finding that I’m writing more now that I’m writing for the classes I’m taking. The routine of writing everyday for assignments that are due has helped me to get a little more disciplined with my own writing.

Good to hear that camp is working out well for you, I like that it’s very relaxed, I haven’t updated my word count either but then I also haven’t managed to write as often as I like, I think I’ll have to try a little a day and see how it goes 🙂
