#IWSG: Writing….

Insecure Writers Support Group Badge

Thanks to Alex for hosting this each month. Here is the complete list of participants.

Writing for class assignments seems to be a lot of what I do lately. I have started working on outlines for the old stories and some new ones though during that time. Class is keeping me busy writing papers and working on projects but I am learning a lot in them.

I do plan to participate in NaNo this year but it is going to be continuing Town Curse (Witches of Raven’s Nest Book 1) instead of a new story. I want to get it finished this time around so while I’m taking my classes next term I will also be trying to churn out the additional words I will need to finish the story. 🙂

I plan to update the books page sometime in the coming month with new blurbs for the ones that are on there and with Town Curse and the status of them. Also, I plan to update the rewards on my Patreon page in the coming weeks and start a new newsletter sign-up on here. So be on the lookout for those things to happen and posts about them soon.

Look forward to reading your comments. 🙂

Sounds like you WILL be busy. Writerly juices churning already. Inspiration and motivation – Sounds like you got ’em full steam! Chug, chug, chug, you go, gal!

    1. I’m studying English and Creative Writing and am thinking about making my WIP part of my course work. I want to have a complete story to work with while doing it. I’m thinking the changes that will be made during the course work will be part of my editing/revising process. 🙂

    1. Not yet David. That’s why I plan to redo the rewards I have in place to try and garner more patrons. I don’t have a big audience either. I think my issue with Patreon is the rewards are not attractive enough to get people to sign up. All you can do is try I guess and see what happens with it. 🙂

  2. Save everything you write. I wrote seven chapters to my first novel in a creative writing class. Never got much further, but saved the manuscript. Now I’m thinking the idea was pretty good and may finish it someday. Have to tell you I was surprised to see my novel, The Shells of Mersing, flashing in your B&N ad. As newly published, I still find it surprising. You get used to rejection and then suddenly, you are published. It happens just like that, and it will happen to you if you don’t give up. Good luck with school and your writing.
