Thank you for stopping by during the hop. Hope you are having fun visiting the authors on the tour as well. A little about me and my stories. I write fantasy (epic/urban) and paranormal novels and short stories. I have recently started writing Young Adult fiction as well.
I live in the South with my dog and two cats. When I’m not writing or editing I can be found reading my favorite books which include The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and anything paranormal set in the city of New Orleans, playing online games like her favorite one Lord of the Rings Online, watching some of my favorite movies (Fast and Furious Franchise, Harry Potter Franchise, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings) and tv shows (Supernatural,The Originals, and Arrow), and spending time with my family and friends.
My favorite author and an influence on my writing is J.R.R. Tolkien. After reading The Lord of the Rings one of the things I decided to try as a writer was to create my own languages in an epic fantasy story I’m working on.
I started writing in middle school and continued into high school. I got away from it for a time and started back in college where I received a bachelor’s degree in media arts with a focus in screenwriting and I started writing seriously after that. I’m now working on my master’s in English and Creative Writing along with obtaining an online teaching certificate in creative writing within the program.
I have several Works In Progress that I’m working on but they will be under my pen name which I will be sharing soon. 🙂

I have two short stories published which are listed below:
The first one is titled Town Curse and is included an anthology I participated in a few years. It is currently being adapted into a full length novel. It is about a young man who is a witch and takes it upon himself to rid his town of a curse that has placed on it by a local witches’ coven. The tentative title for the full length version is Town Curse (Witches of Raven’s Nest).

The other one is titled The Loss. It is about a female elf named Aleesia that is captain of the guard in the king’s army. She losses someone close to her and has to deal with further fall out when the king and prince are killed.

I guess I must have missed the question or secret word, but I love reading paranormal stuff set in the South as well! I am from TN! And New Orleans also fascinates me.
Very curious about your Town Curse story/book!
Hi Melissa, thanks. I’ll be posting more about Town Curse soon. The secret word is J.R.R. Tolkien. He is my favorite author. 🙂
