It is August 1st and I have to report that the new short story that I was hoping to have published in October in an anthology isn’t going to happen. I have it about halfway finished but haven’t been able to work on it since the end of May because of school. I’m a little sad that I won’t get it finished in time to have it published this year but I plan to finish it and make it into a full length novel.
I’m spending most of my time working on the story that is my thesis project and other assignments. I’m working on a schedule for this site and the pen name site and on ideas for future posts I hope to start posting on a regular basis soon on both.

Life often gets in the way, but if you end up with a novel rather than a short story, that’s a good trade off.
