#IWSG: New Year, New Goals

Insecure Writers Support Group Badge

Thanks to Alex for hosting this each month. Here is the complete list of participants.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I didn’t post last month. December was crazy in my personal life. It was the holidays and I was also sick for a few weeks during that time. Feeling much better now.

It’s a new year and that means new goals but I’ll post those in another post. My writing has been going good. I have a new way to set up and tackle goals this year. I found in the past I made big goals and didn’t meet them. This year I’m making smaller goals and setting them up each quarter as well as ones for the whole year. Each smaller goal will help meet the yearly goals.

I have a story that I plan to republish later this month. I’m on the hunt for a cover for it. Once I get the cover I will publish it. My publishing agenda for this year is to see at least 4 to 5 stories being released. I will update on those at a later time. Most of them are going to be in anthologies/box sets but I am working on the next books for several of the ones already out like the Valkyrie and Thornwick series. I also plan to publish to Kindle Vella. There are other things in the works as well that are writing related. Once I have those set up I will update everyone here.

That’s it for now. Can’t wait to hear from you. πŸ™‚

Everyone is getting sick. They’ve been masked up so long to avoid covid that they’ve lost resistance to everything else.

Setting reasonable goals is a good thing. Hope you have a better year in 2023.

  2. Glad you’re feeling better. What’s the upcoming story about?

I hope 2023 will become everything you need it to be.

    1. Hi J Lenni, I am. It’s a about a female shifter. She is the first female alpha in her pack. Her father had been alpha. She has to deal with the loss of her parents and a brother who are killed and her brother is suspected of the killings.

  3. Those look like good goals – often better to break big things up into smaller chunks. Which reminds me, I forgot to make a phone call again today… must do it tomorrow!
    Happy new year!
