Hi everyone,
Hope everyone had a safe and fun July 4th. Lots of good things happening for me. I’m excited to share the cover for my new release Electric Magic (Valkyrie Book 1).

You can buy it here.
Now onto the writing that I’ve been doing. I’m in the middle of edits for Heir to the Throne my female alpha story as well as finishing up Witch’s Curse among other stories due to publish this year.
Classes are going great. I attended a conference online the last weekend of June and I had so much fun meeting new people and offering to work on several projects. The conference is one put on by the school I attend for Tolkien Studies. It’s held every year.
Now for my answer to the July 6 question-Β If you could live in any book world, which one would you choose?
I think it might be obvious which book world I would live in. It’s Middle-earth. I would live in one of three places: The Shire, Rivendell, or Lothlorien. In The Shire, you live in peace, eat 6 to 7 times a day, and basically ignore the outside world. In Rivendell and Lothlorien, it’s peaceful as well.
That’s it for now. Can’t wait to hear from you. π
Cool cover.
Funny, no one wants to live in Mordor….
Hi Alex, thanks. lol. true. Wonder why? π
That cover is amazing!
I wish I’d thought of the Shire when I was writing my post. You had me at eating six or seven times a day, and it’s green and pretty and peaceful. Sign me up!
Hi Janet, thank you. I loved it the minute I saw it. The artist is great. I need to give a shout out to Stacey Thompson for it. I love her work. I have several other covers that she did that will be revealed later this year and next year. π
True about the Shire. It is one of my places in the Lord of the Rings for sure. π
Excellent cover. Glad you’re getting writing done. Middle Earth– love it!
For the IWSG July prompt asking which book world I would live in, I narrowed it down to three choices.
One is a short-story I published. One is from a popular series. And one is better known from television, but there are books. It’s all on my blog.

Over at Operation Awesome, our Pass or Pages query contest is open this week with July’s family saga genre. Know any writers who might want to enter?
